Douglas J. Cahill
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cahill has been our Chairman since 2014 and Hillman’s President and Chief Executive Officer since 2019. Prior to joining Hillman, Mr. Cahill was a Managing Director of CCMP from July 2014 to July 2019 and was a member of CCMP’s Investment Committee and previously was an Executive Adviser of CCMP from March 2013. Mr. Cahill served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Oreck, the manufacturer of upright vacuums and cleaning products, from May 2010 until December 2012. Prior to joining Oreck, Mr. Cahill served for eight years as President and Chief Executive Officer of Doane Pet Care Company, a private label manufacturer of pet food and former CCMP portfolio company, through to its sale to MARS Inc. in 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Cahill served as president of Mars Petcare U.S. Prior to joining Doane in 1997, Mr. Cahill spent 13 years at Olin Corporation, a diversified manufacturer of metal and chemicals, where he served in a variety of managerial and executive roles. Mr. Cahill serves as a Board Member for Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee and the Visitor Board at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. In January 2009, Mr. Cahill was appointed as an Adviser to Mars Incorporated. Mr. Cahill previously served as a director of Banfield Pet Hospital from 2006 to 2016, Ollie’s Bargain Outlet (Nasdaq: OLLI) from 2013 to 2016, Jamieson Laboratories from 2014 to 2017, Founder Sport Group from 2016 to 2019, and Shoes for Crews from 2015 to 2019. Mr. Cahill serves as the Chairman of our board of directors due to his financial, investment, and extensive management experience.
Jon Michael Adinolfi
Chief Operating Officer
John Michael Adinolfi (“JMA”) has served as Chief Operating Officer of Hillman since June of 2023. Prior to COO, Mr. Adinolfi served as Divisional President, Hillman U.S., a role he held since joining Hillman in 2019. Prior to his time at Hillman, Mr. Adinolfi served as President of U.S. Retail for Stanley Black & Decker from November 2016 to July 2019; served as President of Hand Tools for Stanley Black & Decker from October 2013 to December 2016; and served as the CFO — North America, CDIY for Stanley Black & Decker from June 2011 to September 2013. Prior that, he worked as President at Crown Bolt from 2008-2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Accounting degree from the University of Connecticut.
Bob Davis
Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain
Bob Davis has served as Hillman's Executive Vice President of Global Supply Chain since February 2024. In this role Mr. Davis has responsibility for global sourcing direct and indirect, transportation domestic and international, Distribution, Inventory planning and replenishment and inventory control, real estate, and safety. He joined Hillman in November 2021, first holding roles as Vice President of Transportation and Indirect Sourcing, then Vice President of Operations for Hillman's Protective Solutions Division while maintaining his role for Transportation, taking on the additional responsibilities of Global Sourcing and Packaging for Hillman in 2023, to his current expansion of responsibilities in 2024. Prior to his time at Hillman, Mr. Davis had 16 years of experience in Supply Chain Leadership at Home Depot, leading all Supply Chain Operation for Crown Bolt for twelve years, Prior to that he led increasing roles of responsibility for Target Corporation in Stores leadership, as well as Distribution and Logistics leadership. In addition, Mr. Davis is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Brett Hillman
Vice President & General Manager
Brett Hillman has served as Vice President & General Manager for Hillman’s Hardware Solutions Division since April 2022. Prior to this role, Mr. Hillman was Vice President, Traditional Hardware & Strategic Accounts Sales from 2019 to 2022. He served as Director of Traditional Hardware Sales from 2016 to 2019, leading one of the industry’s largest field sales teams. From 2014 to 2016, Mr. Hillman was Director of Tractor Supply & Home Depot Sales, and early on in his career from 2005 to 2013, served in various sales leadership roles within Hillman. He graduated from The University of Kentucky in 2002 with a degree in Finance.
Amanda Kitzberger
Chief Legal Officer
Amanda Kitzberger has served as Chief Legal Officer since May 2023. She was Hillman’s Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from February 2023 to May 2023; Vice President of Human Resources from June 2021 to February 2023; Assistant General Counsel from January 2019 to June 2021. Mrs. Kitzberger’s career has included leading legal, ethics and human resource functions at various global technology manufacturing companies. Before joining Hillman, she was VP General Counsel and Human Resources at Clopay Plastic Products. Co. (now part of Berry Global) from June 2014 to May 2018, and held legal roles of increasing responsibility at GOJO Industries, Inc. from 2008 to 2014. Mrs. Kitzberger is the Executive Sponsor for Hillman’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) program and has led its development and implementation.
Robert Kraft
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kraft has served as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Hillman since November 2017. Prior to joining Hillman, Mr. Kraft served as the President of the Omnicare (Long Term Care) division, and an Executive Vice President, of CVS Health Corporation from August 2015 to September 2017. From November 2010 to August 2015, Mr. Kraft was Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Omnicare, Inc. Mr. Kraft began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1992, was admitted as a Partner in 2004, and is a certified public accountant (inactive). Mr. Kraft currently serves on the board of Medpace Holdings, Inc.
Scott Moore
Divisional President, Robotics and Digital Solutions
Scott Moore has served as Hillman’s Divisional President, Robotics and Digital Solutions since June 2024. Mr. Moore has more than 20 years of executive experience across a wide range of industries and brings a unique results-driven approach to technology enablement. Prior to his current role, Mr. Moore served as Hillman’s Chief Technology Officer from August 2022 to May 2024, and Sr. Vice President of IT for MinuteKEY from March, 2011 to August, 2022. Prior to MinuteKEY, Mr. Moore was the CIO for AP-Networks from April, 2006 to February, 2011. Mr. Moore ran his own consulting firm from May, 2001 to May, 2006 and previously was CIO and founding member of DigitalMed, an eLearning company that was sold to Tenet Healthcare in April, 2001. Earlier in his career, Mr. Moore was an Executive Consultant with IBM Consulting Group. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Executive MBA from the University of Colorado.
George Murphy
Divisional President, Protective Solutions
Mr. Murphy has served as Divisional President, Protective Solutions since 2021. Mr. Murphy served as Executive Vice President of Sales from 2018- 2021 and served as President of Home Depot Sales from 2016 – 2018 for Hillman’s Big Time Products Division. Prior to that, Mr. Murphy was a Senior Director of Sales at Bosch Power Tools, Master Lock and a Global Product Merchant at Home Depot. He brings over 25 years of industry-related experience to the Hillman leadership team.
Aaron Parker
Chief People Officer
Aaron Parker has served as Hillman’s Chief People Officer since May 2024. He joined Hillman in September 2020, first holding roles as Director, then Senior Director and most recently Vice President of Hillman’s Human Resources function. Prior to his time at Hillman, Mr. Parker had years of experience in HR management and leadership, holding prominent roles at both Macy’s and Fifth Third Bank. He is an active, engaged member of the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati YWCA, the Madisonville Education and Assistance Center as HR Committee Chair, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Delta Gamma Lambda Youth & Educational Foundation’s Board of Trustee member and Treasurer.
Scott Ride
President of The Hillman Group Canada ULC
Mr. Ride joined The Hillman Group Canada as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2015. Prior to joining Hillman, Mr. Ride served as the President of Husqvarna Canada from May 2011 through September 2014. From 2005 through 2011, Mr. Ride served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility at Electrolux, including Senior Director of Marketing, Vice President and General Manager, and President.
Gary Seeds
Executive Vice President, Sales & Field Service
Gary Seeds has served as Executive Vice President of US Sales and Service since March of 2015 and has been with The Hillman Group for nearly 40 years. From 2022 to 2015, Mr. Seeds held the position of Senior Vice President of Sales, expanding Hillman’s US sales model to Canada and Mexico and developing regional and national accounts. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Traditional Sales from 1993 to 2022. Mr. Seeds joined the Hillman Group in 1984, serving in various territorial and regional sales leadership positions during those initial years. He became the top volume Salesperson in 1987 and was promoted to District Manager.
Nick Spann
Senior Vice President Information Technology
Nick Spann was promoted to Senior Vice President of Information Technology in May 2024. In this role Mr. Spann has responsibility for IT infrastructure and operations management, security and compliance, and applications development and maintenance. He joined Hillman in July 2023, first holding the role of Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations. Prior to joining Hillman, he has held several IT leadership roles over the past 20 years in the retail sector. Most recently, Mr. Spann spent 9 years at 7-ELEVEN (previously Speedway) in positions of increased responsibility from Director of Infrastructure to Senior Director of Infrastructure & Network Services responsible for over 13,000 retail locations and support for the global enterprise. Mr. Spann held the position of Chief Information Officer for Wilco Hess (acquired by Speedway in 2014). For the past 10 years, Mr. Spann has had an aptitude for leading organizational change through improving technology verticals and mergers and acquisitions governance throughout company divestitures, integrations, and transformational initiatives.
